Dedicated father, grandfather, husband, brother, National Guard veteran, and golfer, Tom Paquin passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on December 18 after a brief, but fierce bout with brain cancer.

Tom was born on February 12, 1947 in Quincy, MA to his proud parents, the late Rita & Henry Paquin.  He was one of six children.  

Tom graduated from Archbishop Williams High School and then went off to Washington DC to serve his country by working for the F.B.I. 

He earned his B.S. in Accounting (with Honors) from Bentley College, and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.  

Tom dedicated his life to practicing law. He spent his career as an estate lawyer on the Cape, most recently running his own practice; The Law Offices of Thomas C. Paquin.  He served in numerous leadership roles on the Barnstable County Bar Association, including President and Vice President.  He was a devoted member of Cummaquid Golf Club, former Co-President of the Yarmouth Port Library, former President & Director of Woodside Cemetery, former Bayberry Hills Golf Course Building Committee Chairman, former Mid-Cape Men’s Club President, and a member of countless other local & national organizations.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Jean (O’Neill), daughter Martha, son Ted, grandson Aiden; and the brother of Celeste DeVincentis of Missouri, Elizabeth Smyth of Maryland and the late John, Paul, and Christopher. He is also survived by countless friends, clients, and golfing buddies.
